3 beautiful days in Sorrento and 2 wonderful nights at the Grand
Hotel Aminta last week. We would like to acknowledge the excellent
service from your staff, especially all the individuals at the front
desk. The front desk staff at the Grand Hotel Aminta were very warm,
personable, professional, and always with a smile. They made us feel
special and welcomed each time we interacted with them. Mille grazie

Everything was perfect! After 5 days at the Aminta we went on to 4
days in Rome. We decided that next time we are going to spend our

for a great holiday. It was an absolute pleasure to meet you once
again. We have been coming to the Aminta for several years now and
as always the service was impeccable. The reception staff was very
efficient and welcoming. The food was fantastic, especially the al a
carte menu. The service by the bar staff by the pool was as ever
terrific and the pool itself was immaculate. The maid service was
great, it needed to be dealing with us – so well done. The views,
the terrace were excellent. So thank you again.

August 26, 2007 My husband and I
and our 15 yr old daughter have just returned from our holiday at
the Aminta hotel. We had a wonderful time ! The views are breath
taking and my only wish would be to be transformed back there to
just sit on those comfortable chairs to admire the views one more
time. The hotel met up with all our expectations and more. The
breakfasts were amazing and staff so nice and friendly. We certainly
would come back again.Take plenty of money for the trips as there is
so much to see and do the boat trips were great and we loved Capri.
Go off the beaten track in Capri away from the masses of tourists
and you will get some stunning photos.We hired a car for a day to
see all the coast which was not really necesary as one of the local
buses takes you there too Our only comment would be about the timing
of the last bus back we found it too long a wait for the 11pm bus
perhaps 10pm wound have been better.Dont hesitate to book this
hotel!

stayed in the hotel between the 23rd to 29th of july 2007 . It was
the most amazing , fabulous , wonderful hotel we have ever stayed
in. We cant say it enough.From the moment we arrived in Sorrento via
the bus, we were in awe. The reception/lobby was classy. The
receptionists were soo helpful, and the room was exquisite. A huge
bed, flatscreen tv, a view of the bay, jaquzzi bath, everything was
big and spacious. The best part though for us was the pool side bar.
So relaxing and clean and friendly. We would recommend to anybody to
go here. You will have a dream holiday

enjoyed a first class hotel. Your staff was wonderful, especially at
the front desk. We were cheerfully helped with all of our questions
and problems. And I thoroughly enjoyed chatting with the young lady
(I'm sorry, I can't remember her name) at the desk. I hope she
visits my country soon and I hope people are as friendly and helpful

We had a lovely stay @ your hotel. I have worked in hotels when I was going to school. While the facilities are important, what makes a hotel is its staff. Your staff is superb. Everyone we met was professional and helpful. I would like to single out one person, your bus driver. He showed genuine personal kindness to my family on New Years Eve. Your big night dinner was more than we wanted. Your driver saw that we were without a place to eat and he made great efforts to find us a wonderful place outside of town. New Years Eve also happens to be my birthday. This wonderful, soft spoken man made it a very memorable one. I am a private investigator. It is my business to analyze people. You bus driver is what we call in the US, "The real deal!" I would reccommend your hotel based on what I stated in my first paragraph. I will go out of my way to convince people to stay @ your hotel because of the kindness of your bus driver. Finally, being a private investigator, I work many insurance lawsuits involving accidents. Hello All At The Aminta
I just wanted to say a big thank you to everyone at the hotel for making our week stay with you (13th Oct) so enjoyable. Everyone at the hotel was extremely friendly and helpful – especially Meemo who always took such good care of us and made an extra special effort with our 5 year old son (who thought he was great..!!!) Please pass on our thanks to him. The hotel was at all times spotless and the service excellent. The evening menus were excellent and varied and our son especially enjoyed the Sunday night gala and the dancing girls…!!!! My wife and I have just got back to England, but I would like you all to know, that we had the best wedding Anniversary of our life there at your Hotel. We had our honeymoon in Sorrento 30 years ago, and yes we came back. My wife in particular thought everything was so fantastic and just perfect. All your staff were pleasant and helpful at all times, and no-one could do enough for us. We don't know all your staff names, but we do particularly remember with great fondest all your bar staff, Antonio (Tony) Fernando and of course Meemo, they were so friendly to us, and were always in excellent humour, we liked them all very much, and whereas I don't want to single any one of them out, because they were a "good team" we thought that Meemo had a very good rapore with us, always smiling, and a great sense of humour. I know its their job to be friendly, but there is no doubt that they had become "friends" to us there, and would always go out of their way to speak and laugh and joke with us. They were also extremely attentive to us, and that was so nice. Your hotel is really lovely, clean and well presented, we would find it hard to fault any aspect of it, and if we should return (and I hope we do) then we will come back to your hotel. My wife and I spent last week at your hotel and we wish to thank you for the excellent 1st class service that we received from you. It was our honeymoon and you made a really special holiday even better. As I travel around the world on business, I get to stay in a number of hotels and the Aminta has to be the best for a long while. It is the little touches that make a good hotel into a great hotel - your night receptionist who patiently guided us in to the hotel on our arrival with great accuracy, the room we were offered to wash and change prior to our departure for the airport, even though we had already booked out of the hotel and many other touches too. Many thanks for the hospitality and the
friendly and very efficient service we received during our recent stay
at your beautiful hotel (21-31 August 2006).
It was our first visit to Sorrento but will definitely not be our last. From the moment we arrived we felt at home. To have our room upgraded to one with a sea view and balcony and a complimentary chilled bottle of wine sent to our room was a very nice touch. My wife and I enjoyed the relaxed atmosphere around the hotel and the always cheery service from all staff. The reception was cool and comfortably furnished a welcome relief from the warm weather, especially after travelling. The pool and pool area was spotless. It is kept exceedingly well. As always, the Dining Room staff were helpful and courteous and so were the bar staff. Say hello and thank you especially to Salvatore who served us at most meals and was very efficient and great fun. When we come to your hotel it is a holiday for us just sitting on the patio gazing at the magnificent views over the Bay. In fact that is sometimes why we appear never to move away from the hotel. To all the staff
We have just returned from a two week stay with yourselves (room 109) and i wanted you to all know that we had a brilliant time. The hotel was superb, the best we have ever stayed in and even better than it looks on your web site. The views are out of this world and they will stay in our minds for a long time. Being italian i know what italian food should be like and i can honestly say that every night the food was fantastic. There was always a good choice and it was never disappointing. Most importantly of all are the staff in the hotel, there was not one memeber of staff who wasn't friendly, polite and extremely professional in their job. I want to say a big thank you to you all, from the receptionist who always greeted us with a smile, the waiters and barmen who looked after us so well and also the chambermaids who kept our room clean the whole two weeks. Having the use of the internet was a real god send to me, it was the first time i have left my older daughter at home and being able to keep intouch with her by email was peace of mind. I will be recommending the Aminta to all my friends and family and we will definately be coming back next year, until then thank you very much again, we will look forward to seeing you all again. We have been coming to the Aminta for the last 5 years and each time we stay we have the most fantastic time and then we return and I send you an e-mail thanking you and complimenting the staff at the hotel, etc. This year you and your staff have surpassed all previous years by giving us the most amazing two weeks of our lives and I’m not sure how any words can express our gratitude to you and all those who work at the Aminta. As you know, Lynn and I got engaged in Sorrento two years ago and we had arranged to get married in the Cloisters in Sorrento this year. We arrived on Friday 19th May and enjoyed a very relaxing first week on our own before our families and friends joined us for the second week, the week we got married. It was my parents and sister’s first time abroad and I know they have e-mailed you to thank you for such a wonderful first time experience they had abroad (what a holiday to have as your first!). The weather had been unusually hot for the time of year but we kept checking the long term forecast to see what the weather had in store for our wedding day. We couldn’t believe it when we found that it was the only day where thunderstorms were forecast! We needn’t have worried though. When I saw you in the bar a few nights before Gianfranco, I mentioned the weather forecast to you and you said you would have a look. When we checked the forecast the next day it had changed and there was now a big yellow sun for Tuesday 30th May! We always knew that you would do anything for us to make our stay perfect but we didn’t know you were in control of the weather! Anyway, our wedding had been scheduled for 4pm and when the horse and carriage arrived to take Lynn down to the Cloisters the sky was blue and the sun was shining. The service was lovely and once photographs had been taken (and what a fantastic setting for our wedding photographs) Lynn and I were transported back to the Aminta in the horse and carriage and our family and friends were brought back up to the hotel to join us. On arrival we were greeted by Senior Michelle and his staff serving us with canapés and champagne on the terrace. Some of our friends were staying at other hotels but were in total awe of the magnificent views that you get from the hotel. Shortly after, we moved into the dining room for the 5 course meal that you had kindly let us try and choose last year. The food was gorgeous; in fact the reception was nothing short of a dream. You had arranged a table for us all which was decorated with lovely flowers (at no charge we noticed) matching those that we had chosen for our wedding and you had printed menus with our initials on, all beautifully presented. It is little touches like that that made everything feel so special. We had the dining room to ourselves until 7pm when the restaurant started to fill up with other guests staying at the Aminta which worked out really well. It was at this point that the most enormous and beautiful wedding cake was brought to us (photo attached). As we cut the cake everyone in the dining room clapped and cheered – fantastic! You had arranged for several of the waiters to serve our food and drink and they were all magnificent (photo attached). We would never have received the service and attention that we received at your hotel if we had arranged the same thing back in England. You pride yourselves on this kind of service and it was very much appreciated by everyone who was there to share our big day. Lynn and I would like to pass on our enormous gratitude to all your staff who made our two week stay such a wonderful time, both for us and our family and friends. We are always made to feel so welcome, so much so that we now think of you all as being our extended family. Apart from a couple of changes, the same people work at the hotel year in year out and they now recognise us and make us feel at home (Layla on reception came and gave us a big hug and a kiss on arrival which set the tone for the whole holiday!). We would love to mention everyone who works at the Aminta on an individual basis as they are all so fantastic but this would be impossible. A few people we would like to mention though are Salvatore who was so helpful and charming on reception, Luigi, the pool attendant who was always so friendly and accommodating. Senior Michelle in the restaurant and his staff couldn’t have been any more courteous and helpful. Salvatore and Pietro were big hits with the kids at breakfast time and evening meals so special thanks to them. Fernando and his colleague in the bar (whose name I didn’t get) were great too, it was a bit embarrassing that after a few days they knew exactly what drinks we wanted (champagne cocktails and the cocktail with the fresh mint) and I must apologise for keeping Fernando up to until the early hours one night while I continued to drink cocktails at the bar! And finally Gianfranco, a special thank you to you. We appreciate so much what you have done for us. The help you gave us prior to our arrival, the room you gave us, the flowers in our room, the numerous free drinks, the amazing reception with all the little extras, the bottles of champagne, the free kids meals at the reception…………the list is endless. My friend, John and his family who stayed at another hotel were so impressed by the service and position of the hotel that they intend to come to the Aminta next year for a two week holiday. Everything was perfect from start to finish and as usual we are now counting down to next year when we will definitely be coming back. Grand Hotel Aminta,
We (myself and my parents) would just like to say a big thank you to you and all the staff at the Aminta for the wonderful week we have just spent at your lovely hotel. This being our first time abroad we were naturally quite apprehensive of the whole experience. Any anxiety we may have felt however, disappeared once we settled into our delightful rooms with their beautiful sea views. We flew out to Italy to join my brother Philip and his fiancee Lynn for their wedding in Sorrento. They both fell in love with the area a few years ago and have been returning to the Aminta ever since. We'd heard many glowing reports of your hotel and were finally able to experience it for ourselves and we were not disappointed. The kindness, friendliness, professionalism and competence of all the staff was very refreshing and very much appreciated. The wedding reception was very special and we were delighted with the magnificent effort on the part of yourself and the hotel. We have now returned home and are consoling ourselves with the many photographs taken during our stay and of course with the memories of a fantastic holiday. 26/5/06 and 2/6/06 and had a beautiful relaxing stay with outstanding views from

Dear Everyone at the Aminta.
Charlie (Carlo) and I (Meg) have just returned from 2 weeks at the Aminta Hotel. 19th May until 2nd June. Thanks to Toni, Pietro 1 and 2, Fernando and all the other staff for their kindness and attention during our stay. The Views from the Terrace will stay with us forever. 10 out of 10 for the timing of the hotel bus taking us in and out of Sorrento. Sharing a table was something I was a bit concerned about before we arrived but Jennifer, Jan, Anne & James were great company and I'm sure we will be in touch soon. were wonderful we couldn't believe our luck, it was amazing. Thankyou

Your hotel was fabulous and clean. The restaurant had excellent food with the kindest waiters and staff. Your staff treated us wonderful, so wonderful we did not want to leave. the location of your hotel is perfect with a free shuttle into town. We have recommended you to a couple for their honeymoon. I wanted to let the staff and prospective
vacationers know how much my husband and I enjoyed our week at Aminta.
From the moment we entered until the moment we left we felt special.
The breakfast was incredible and so graciously served. The dinners
were elegant and, by New York standards, quite reasonably priced. The
view from the bar was so romantic. The hotel was very convenient to
the bus line so that we could explore the entire coast. The free
shuttle made access to trains/buses to anyway very easy. The concierge
was most helpful with the necessary time tables. We used "Seahorse Car
Service" to take us to and from the Naples Airport and found them
exceptionally prompt and professional.
